Declan Swan has overseen a remarkable upturn in form after the FA Vase victory over Kimberley Miners Welfare, and his side have now won three games in a row before Saturday's trip to Greater Manchester.

A dominant road performance at Cheadle Heath Nomads was followed up by a hard-fought win against Ashville, who were fresh from their own 2-0 win over league leaders Stockport Town.

Heading into a November of games on the road, with four more away fixtures until the Ramblers' next home game in early December, Swan will be hoping his side can take the fight to their opponents throughout the month and put themselves in a strong position heading into the Christmas period.

Sandbach's recent form has coincided with the return of captain Jordan Stafford and young fullback Liam Fitzpatrick from suspension, along with the introduction of centre-back Louis Johnson to partner the impressive Rory Roberts.

One particular standout player for the Ramblers has been striker Joshua Klein-Davies, who has scored six goals in his last six appearances for the club.

Demonstrating a killer instinct in front of goal and tendency to be "in the right place at the right time", Klein-Davies has been leading the line well for the Ramblers. In the victory over Ashville, he also showed a glimpse of a potentially formidable attacking partnership with Josh Oultram, with both strikers scoring in the victory.

The return of Robbie Hatton from Winsford United has been well received by Sandbach fans, and despite not scoring since re-joining, the midfielder has been a constant thorn in the sides of the opposition with his tenacity and creativity, most recently with his excellent pass through the defence to assist Stanley Tatters' goal against Ashville.

Midfielder Will Booth nears his return to full fitness and will be hoping to feature in the coming weeks, whilst Lewis Barker remains side-lined with a long-term injury sustained last season.

Fitzpatrick will be a doubt for the trip to Wythenshawe after picking up an injury in the first half of Tuesday's win, while Sandbach hope to welcome back Harry Cain after his midweek absence.

Wythenshawe currently sit second in the league after 14 games played, winning 11 and losing only once in a 3-2 defeat at Cheadle Town.

The Manchester side are unbeaten in their last eight league games, recording massive win margins over Ashville and Foley Meir in the process.

Having already scored 38 league goals this campaign, the free-scoring side were widely tipped for promotion at the start of the season and are only a point behind leaders Stockport.

With the second-best attacking record and best defensive record in the NWCFL South, Wythenshawe are delivering on the expectations of pre-season and will provide a tough test for Sandbach.

However, feeling confident after some good results and performances of their own, the Ramblers will be looking to surprise Wythenshawe and claim a statement result on their travels.
