Legendary singer, Matt Ford, and Sandbach's Foden's Band delighted the audience with their "Salute to Sinatra and Swing Legends" at a concert at Congleton Town Hall last night (Tuesday).

Sandbach Nub News reader, Ingrid Victor, was there to see it and has written a short review for Nub News.

"National champions, Foden's Band led a superb swing programme featuring the amazing Matt Ford whose jokes and easy chat soon got the audience in the mood and joining in," says Ingrid.

"Superb solos from Melanie Whyle on flugel and Gary Curtin on euphonium, the band also featured Nick Birch on trombone and John Barber showcasing his excellent keyboard skills.

"What an amazing evening and a superb selection of songs beautifully played."
