Rubbish on fire at disused building near Sandbach

Firefighters went to a blaze in a disused building in Middlewich in the early hours of yesterday (Sunday) morning.  

A fire engine from Middlewich and another from Winsford went a quantity of rubbish on fire in a disused building in Leadsmithy Street at 1.46 am.  

A Cheshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: "Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet and a high-pressure fan to put the fire out."
