The talented fly half, who amassed nearly 600 points in 117 appearances for Champion stalwarts, the Pirates, is leaving the professional game to follow a new stage in his career.
A popular face on the pitch, Will, 31, is joining the Bradwall Road club's coaching programme, taking up the role of Senior Skills and Kicking Coach.
His role will also see him involved in coaching the next generation of players at the club, namely their U16, 17 & 18's age groups, with the emphasis on transition and long-term player development.

And it's not just the club's next generation players who will having a taste of Will's skills – spectators will too. For Will has registered as a player with The 'Bach as a player and will back in the green and red jersey in next few months. A true Sandbachian, Will is no stranger to Bradwall Road. Even during his time with the Pirates, he would always keep in touch with the whole club. Many will remember how influential he was when Sandbach made the leap to the National Leagues a decade ago. Director of Rugby, Andy Bird, said he was delighted to be welcoming Will back. He said: "It just shows how loyal he has remained to us. We couldn't be happier. It's a real accolade for Sandbach RUFC."
