Sandbach man arrested on suspicion of 'sex offences' released on conditional bail

The 45-year-old man from Sandbach was arrested on suspicion of attempting to incite a child to engage in sexual activity (Cheshire Police).

A Cheshire man has been arrested on suspicion of "sex offences," has released on conditional bail while police continue with their enquiries.

On Thursday 3 August, Cheshire Police were called to address in Betchton, Sandbach.

At 4:45pm, officers arrived at the scene, arresting a 45-year-old man on suspicion of attempting to incite a child to engage in sexual activity.

The 45-year-old Cheshire resident is currently in police custody, assisting officers with their enquiries (Cheshire Police).

A Cheshire Police spokesperson said today: "The man has since been released on conditional bail while police continue with their enquiries."
