FIRST GLIMPSE: Vehicle enthusiast, Steve Stolworthy, has one thing on his mind – to put a glow not only on cars sent for him to work on but also on customers' faces when they come to collect.

The businessman, who specialises in among other things ceramic coatings, minor and major paint correction, oven rectification, paintless scratch removal, exterior detailing, took the plunge a few months ago and moved to new premises.

The talented machine polisher was working out of premises in Ettiley Heath but when a unit in Sandbach's Green Street in the town centre came up he jumped at tit as it fitted his requirements.

Now Steve's business, AutoGlow Detailing & Paint Correction Specialists is going from strength to strength and the young entrepreneur, who worked at Swansway Accident Repair Centre for eight years before going it alone, has never been happier.

Steve said: "Not many people know what I do but once I have worked on their car they can see the difference.

"Bird droppings for example eat into paintwork or tree sapping can damage paint work, a car can get light scratches.

"When you look closely you can see what has happened. This is what I have a passion for.

"Every car gets treated the same whether it's a Porche 911 or a Nissan Micra. Cars are people's pride and joy and they like them to be immaculate.

"This is my passion and it's what I love doing," said Steve whose attention to detail is second to none as he works closely on a vehicle in the detailing bay, complete with LED lights.

A cabinet packed with various containers and canisters are the key to some of the work which Steve does on a daily basis.

And his name is so good in the business now that Steve is getting referrals from major motor companies all over the country who have heard of his amazing skills.
