An award-winning Sandbach drama group is getting ready to stage its latest offering which is a little different - a murder mystery where the audience take part.
Saxon Players will be presenting 'Mad Gary's Fruit and Nut Case' at the Masonic Hall on December 1st and 2nd.
Members of the audience are the suspects and will be part of the action as "Sandbach's Finest".
Saxon Player's Jon Beagles won Best Individual Performance at this year's Wilmslow One Act Play Festival, as we revealed here
The year before, Jo Sutton won the same accolade for her portrayal of her own great-grandmother in Hannah's Left Hook.
In this production, Inspector Mad Gary Grasslover interviews them under caution - the caution being that he is so useless it will be difficult not to laugh!
The plot is based around the wedding of the son of the owners of Looselips Wholesale Fruit and Veg and the daughter of Tommy, who has a fruit and veg stall on Sandbach Market.
It would appear that the bride is heavily pregnant and things soon start to unravel at the reception as it becomes apparent that Lionel Looselips may not be the father.
However, that is the least of their troubles when the wedding guests starting dropping dead!
A full bar will be open all evening making for a relaxed evening for of fun and entertainment.
