Sandbach Transport Festival is officially open, with events taking place throughout the day.

Mayor, Councillor Kathryn Flavell opened the two-day event today (Saturday), saying the festival highlighted Sandbach's rich transport heritage.

And she was joined on stage by Leon Walker (14), who along with a friend, rescued Sandbach poppy wreaths taken from Sandbach War Memorial.
