It's not time yet but Alsager 1st Scout group are urging people to get booked in for their annual fundraising Christmas tree collection and they are including collection to Sandbach.

Alsager 1st Scouts have set up an on-line booking system and are doing collections within a six mile radius and this year are including Sandbach.

To get booked in you just fill in the on-line booking system here.

Scouts will be out on Sunday 9th January collecting trees but they say if there is sufficient demand, they will extend this to Saturday 8th January as well.

A spokesperson said: "We are very excited to be running our Christmas Tree Collection Fundraiser again this year, on Sunday 9th January

"Just leave your tree out on the day and rest up-to our fantastic volunteers."

A minimum donation of £5 is being asked for and this can either be paid on line or money attached to the tree.
