Here are our top event picks for the coming days:

Friday, February 23rd

Fancy a cocktail or two? It's the Swan & Chequers 'happy hour' from 5 pm until 7 pm. Cocktails are 50 per cent, cask is £3 and draught is £4 and karaoke is set up from 7 pm. The Swan & Chequers is also launching its new food menu today (Friday).

Later in the evening, the Swan & Chequers also has its karaoke night. Fancy dusting off your vocals? The fun begins at 7 pm.

Do you like Italian food? SiSi Italian, which launched recently, see our story here, has its weekly slot at Sandbach Cricket Club in Hind Heath Road from 5 pm until 8 pm.

Saturday, February 24th

Fancy blowing away the cobwebs? The Old Hall has its monthly dog walk starting off with a bacon butty with coffee or tea from 9.30 am followed by a dog walk at 10 am. Donations are in aid of Sandbach Animal Rescue Society.

From 9.30 am - 12 noon, Sandbach Animal Rescue Society has its monthly coffee morning at Sandbach Town Hall. Well worth a visit to not only enjoy the cakes, breakfast baps, tea and coffee but also the books and clothes for sale.

Sandbach United are away to Abbey Hulton United with a 3 pm kick-off.

Sunday, February 18th

The Lion has a Chubby Brown tribute night from 7.30 pm. Last few tickets remaining at £6 reserved seating or £3 for general access.
