Here are our top event picks for the coming days:
Friday, July 18th
Fancy trying your hand at felting? Join fibre artist Vicky Pulman of Needlessly Felted in the Holmes Chapel studio at Sam Dales for a creative summer workshop where you'll design and make your own wet felted wild flower meadow using soft, vibrant wool fibres.
Using the traditional wet felting process — warm water, soap, and gentle friction — you'll learn how to blend colours, layer texture, and create a beautifully tactile landscape filled with summer blooms and meadow grasses. Perfect for mounting or framing, your finished piece will be a lasting celebration of the season.
Workshop Details:
- Date: Friday 18th July
- Time: 11:00am – 2:30pm
- Location: Sam Dale and Sons, Holmes Chapel
- Tutor: Vicky Pulman, experienced felt artist and tutor
- Price: £55 per person
- Capacity: Small group size for plenty of one-to-one support

At Sandbach Market Hall, it's the Friday indoor market from 9 am until 4 pm - a chance to shop local and look around a variety of stalls.

Saturday, July 19th
It's the monthly Repair Café Sandbach and this month there's an extra addition - Rentu.
Aside from taking your everyday items to be repaired by a team of skilled volunteers, the Repair Cafe will also have an organisation called Rentu a way to rent what you need, when you need it. For example, emergency chairs for a one-off occasion or a cement mixer for a garden project.
Once you're finished with the product, you can return the item. Go along to the Repair Cafe Sandbach at St Peter's Hall in Elworth from 11 am until 2 pm to find out more. Read a previous article here to find out details about the Repair Cafe Sandbach.

It's also an opportunity to meet new people and you can enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and/or a home bake.
Repairs are free of charge (unless parts are required) and completed on 'best effort' basis. Monetary donations are welcome.
There isn't a Repair Cafe Sandbach in August - the one after this one will be in September to celebrate its second anniversary.
In the evening, the Swan & Chequers has a House Music and Ibiza Anthems event with DJ Ryan Butlerand guests from 7 pm. Free entry. Outdoor DJ night with lighting and big screen imagery.

Sunday, July 20th
Fancy some Karaoke? The Lion in Sandbach has its Sunday 'Krazee Karaoke' from 7 pm.

Have a fantastic weekend!
