Local sports firm has February half-term holiday club spaces available through the Holiday Activity Fund.
By The Editor 29th Jan 2026
The Sports Coaching Group's FREE HAF holiday club spaces have now gone live for February half-term.
The HAF programme is a government-funded initiative designed to support children and young people during the school holidays by providing access to fun, engaging activities alongside a healthy meal.
Bookings are available through the firm's website and the EEQU booking system.
With demand always high, Sports Coaching is encouraging families to secure their HAF (Holiday Activities and Food Programme) places as soon as possible.

If they miss out on a HAF place the company is offering a discounted holiday club rate of £15 a day for families who are eligible for HAF.
This reduced price includes a hot lunch, ensuring children still receive a nutritious meal alongside a full day of activities.

Sports Coaching Group offers a wide range of HAF opportunities to suit different age groups and interests.
While many people associate HAF with younger children, provision goes much further than that with Teen HAF.
Alongside its popular holiday clubs for children aged 5–11, SCG will also be delivering this half-term:
• HAF YouthZone at SportsZone, Moston Road, Sandbach, for young people aged 13+, providing a more age-appropriate, social and engaging environment which includes virtual golf, pool darts, live TV sports and free food.
If you are not eligible for HAF, you can still attend at a cost of £15 aged 12+ from 9am-1pm, to book click here.

The HAF programme is a government-funded initiative designed to support children and young people during the school holidays by providing access to fun, engaging activities alongside a healthy meal.
It's about much more than just childcare, it's about keeping children active, building confidence, encouraging social interaction and ensuring they are well-nourished during the holidays
To be eligible for the HAF programme, children generally need to be of school age (Reception to Year 11) and in receipt of benefits-related free school meals.
If you're unsure whether your child qualifies, you can easily check eligibility online before booking.
SCG's HAF programme continues to play an important role in supporting families and giving children opportunities to stay active, happy and healthy throughout the school holidays.
