Here are our top event picks for the coming days:

Thursday, May 16th

The Cheshire Cheese pub in Wheelock has its weekly quiz night from 8.30 pm. Pie, chips, gravy and a pint for £10.99 followed by the quiz at 8.30pm. Free entry with a £30 bar tab up for grabs, as well as many more prizes.

Friday, May 17th

An exhibition of floral art from the Cheshire Artists Network is on until June 15th every weekend Fridays until Sundays 10 am - 4 pm at Hill Farm, Mill Lane, Moston - link in our What's On section here and our story here about the event.

Don't forget it's Happy Hour at the Swan & Chequers from 5 pm - 7 pm and there's 30 per cent off 'Dirty Fries' plus a fabulous menu to tempt your tastebuds!

Do you like Italian food? SiSi Italian, which launched recently, see our story here, has its weekly slot at Sandbach Cricket Club in Hind Heath Road from 5 pm until 8 pm.

Saturday, May 18th

It's the monthly Repair Cafe Sandbach - a great place to get something repaired. Held at St Peter's Church Hall in Elworth, it's on from 11 am until 2pm. A great time of fixers as we revealed in our story here The event is run on the third Saturday of the month. Repair Cafés are all about repairing things. The 'fixers', who are unpaid local volunteers, will try and repair your item. You are invited to watch the repair, allowing you to take away not only your repaired item but a new shared skill.

It's World Whisky Day and the Swan & Chequers is showcasing its special whisky liqueur - Shanky's Whip plus a special cocktail menu and more! Don't miss out!

Malkins Bank golf course's Bar 918 is showing the Fury v Usyk fight with free chip butties. Live viewing of the main card starting at 5pm.

The Lion in Sandbach has Elwood J Blues from 9.30 pm bringing you all the hits from The Blues Brothers & The Commitments.

Sunday, May 19th

Sandbach Baptist Church has its 'messy church' from 3.30pm until 5pm at Oasis Community Centre in Green Street.

Meanwhile, Sandbach's new mayor, Councillor Ann Nevitt, has a fundraising afternoon tea event with Foden's Band at Sandbach Town Hall in support of Foden's Band and the Friends of Sandbach Cemetery.
