The historic Swan & Chequers is gearing up for a summer of fun with a giant outside screen to show sporting events and hopefully films.
The pub, which opened nearly a near ago, is installing a three metre by two metre screen ready for the Euros in June as well as an outside bar.
And it's not just football the pub will be showing – they also hope to screen Wimbledon so customers can take advantage of the suntrap outdoor area.
On top of the giant screen, an outdoor bar is being set up in the courtyard, which features the giant mural of Sir Winston Churchill.
Jaki Hurst who runs the pub with husband Matt is excited about the new outdoor offering to coincide with the Euros which run from June 14th – July 14th.
"It's a great outdoor area and so pleasant when the sun's out. We're so excited about screening the England matches and the Euros," she said.
"We're also hoping to start film nights. The outdoor bar is also another great addition."
The pub reopened last August as we revealed here after a massive makeover by the brewery Robinsons.
This Sunday ( June 2nd), the pub has the five-piece jazz band from Manchester, 'John's Bebop Band' playing from 4 pm.
