Friday, December 13th

Fancy a festive drink? The Swan & Chequers in Hightown has its happy hour from 5 pm - 7 pm and there's 30 per cent off 'Dirty Fries'. A chance to get out of the cold and warm up with some tasty food.

Elworth Grange Care Home in Sandbach has a gingerbread party from 5 pm until 6 pm. Go along and join the café event for 'everything gingerbread'. Decorate some real gingerbread, paint and decorate a gingerbread figures plus games and music. Ten places for 10 children and a corresponding adult are available. The link is here

Saturday, December 14th

Join Santa for breakfast at the Swan & Chequers. The cost is £15 per child which includes breakfast, drink, table activity, visit and a gift from Santa. Every weekend throughout December. Pre-booking required. Call 01270 762109, email [email protected] or pop in to book your place.

At The Military Arms in Congleton Road, it's the monthly Armed Forces Breakfast Club at 9 am - the last reunion of the year. If you are an armed forces veteran or serving person, book in your breakfast and go along!

Sandbach United's first team are at home to Allscott Heath with a 3 pm kick-off.

In the evening, the Swan & Chequers has its Christmas party night. A great Christmas celebration featuring a live party band, Montage, plus a buffet and a welcome Mimosa cocktail. Tickets are just £15 each. 

Fancy a drink or two? Take advantage of the Swan & Chequers' Saturday offers - four shots for £10, cask ale £3.50, cocktail of the week £7 or two for £11. Don't miss out!
