Here are our top event picks for the coming days:

Friday, March 21st

It's the Friday market indoors at Sandbach Market 9 am until 4 pm - a chance to shop local and look round a variety of stalls.

The British Legion, Sandbach is holding its quiz night and awards with a fish and chip supper at the Masonic Hall in Sandbach. It starts at 7 pm and tickets are £12. Contact 01270 762173 or Peevers in Sandbach for tickets.

Meanwhile Wheelock Playing Fields has its quiz night at Sandbach Rugby Club starting at 7.15 pm. Tickets are £15 including food. Further details from Mike on 01270 764287 .

The Swan & Chequers in Hightown has its happy hour from 5 pm - 7 pm and there's 30 per cent off 'Dirty Fries'. A chance to get out of the cold and warm up with some tasty food.

Saturday, March 22nd

Sandbach United Football Club in Hind Heath Road has a Non-League Day with the first time playing Ashville AFC with a 3 pm kick-off. The Non-League Day is mentioned in our interview with club chairman Simon Tillott here

Sunday, March 23rd

At Ashtanga Cheshire Studios in Welles Street featured here, there's a Spring Equinox retreat day from 2 pm until 5 pm. Step into Spring with a celebration of the Equinox and the returning of the light. Come together to enjoy an afternoon accompanied by an uplifting yoga practice and a seasonal lunch.
