The show goes on for animal rescue charity after its monthly venue is no longer available

An animal rescue charity currently caring for 30 cats has launched a raffle and was outside Sandbach Town Hall in a bid to make up for an estimated £3,000 fundraising which will be lost.
Sandbach Animal Rescue takes in abandoned cats from across the local area, including towns such as Middlewich and Crewe and has a bungalow in the town where it cares for the cats and kittens.
A charity, it relies on vital funds raised monthly from it coffee morning normally held at Sandbach Town Hall but this currently isn't available due to a staffing issue.
Each monthly coffee morning raises around £1,000 which goes towards an estimated £2,000 monthly veterinary bill and other associated costs.
Now the group is hoping that a raffle with prizes donated by local businesses including nearby Cranage Hall at Holmes Chapel will help boost funds.
Cranage Hall even sent along three members of staff to help out today (Saturday) to raise funds for the group.

Chair of trustees Samantha Moss said the offer of a gazebo in front of Sandbach Town Hall was "suddenly" offered for them to use.
"We're doing lour best to make up funds," she said. "We spend hundreds of pounds a month on food and litter plus other associated costs. Lots of our regulars to come to the coffee mornings have given us money instead to help us out.
"We know Sandbach is a very proud market town and we have 100 per cent support from the community. We're delighted with the rersponse we've had."
Sandbach Nub News told here how Sandbach Town Council had said it was "extremely sorry" that the charity was unable to use the ball room at the town hall for their coffee mornings at present.
"Unfortunately, there are severe staff shortages with no capacity to provide any service other than honour wedding bookings," they said previously.
"It is hoped the situation can be resolved quickly and it may be that the group is able to return before May.
"There may be a possibility that an agreement can be made that the group can use the boardroom if available.
"However, this is a much smaller room with no kitchen facilities but would give an opportunity to raise some funds."

Instead the charity it hoping its raffle offering prizes including a bed and breakfast package with complementary fizz for two at De Vere Cranage Estate, Holmes Chapel plus a Russell Hobbs quiet boil kettle donated by Handy Household and Sunday lunch for two at The Fox Inn, Elworth and a £15 gift voucher for The Real Thing in Sandbach to name a few.
Tickets are £2 each or three for £5 available at the stall today (Saturday) or the group's charity shop near Waitrose until 28th February 2025.
