Hardworking volunteers at Sandbach rail station have notched up another award for their amazing work.
Friends of Sandbach Station (FOSS) have won the 'Best Staffed Station Award' - for the fourth time.
The volunteers, who meet once a month and sometimes in between, first won the award in 2014 then again in 2019, 2021 and now 2022.
FOSS (whose logo is shown above) were presented with the award at an event at the Grange Heath in Northwich by Brian Barnsley, deputy chief executive of Community Rail Network.
John Scarrott, FOSS chair, couldn't be prouder of his team, who recently completed new seating around a planter.
"We have some amazing volunteers and we are so grateful for all the hours of work they put in.
