What's on in Sandbach this weekend

It's Pudsey Bear time and lots of events will be raising money for BBC's Children's in Need on Friday and some over the weekend.

Elsewhere there's a Christmas fayre, coffee morning, rugby, a play and an art exhibition in a fun-packed weekend in Sandbach.

Here are our top event picks for the coming days: Saturday November 20th Unity Church's weekly coffee morning takes place in Wesley Avenue 10 am – 12 pm At the same time, between 10 am and 12 pm, Grace Church Sandbach invites everyone to Buzz! – a free family fun morning with games, quizzes, crafts, a baby area, Lego, drinks and cakes at Sandbach Town Hall. Meanwhile Sandbach Rugby Club in Bradwall Road has a fun-packed day with Kirkham and Leicester grammar schools playing at 10 am.

The two schools are playing over various age groups from Under 12's/13's/14's/15's/2nd XV & 1st XV.

Later in the afternoon the Saxons entertain Sedley Park before the big International match England v South Africa at 3.15 pm.

Wheelock Congregational Church Hall has a Christmas fayre at 2.30 pm while the Saxon Players have Brewster's Millions running from Thursday (November 18th) until Saturday (November 20th) at Sandbach Masonic Hall.

Sunday November 21st

Sandbach Festival of Art takes place at Sandbach Town Hal 10 am – 4pm. A chance to see all kinds of art by local artists. You can buy art or order something special direct from the artist. Entrance is free and you can vote for your favourite piece of art.
