It's a busy weekend ahead with two fundraising events, live music and car boot sale.

Friday, October 6th

Sandbach Animal Rescue Society has its charity fashion show with Handbags & Gladrags Boutique at Sandbach Cricket Club in Hind Heath Road. Arrival for 7.00pm with a 7.30pm prompt fashion show start. All items will be available to purchase on the nigh and the cost is £7.

The Lower Chequer pub has JMD playing live from 9 pm.

Meanwhile the Cheshire Cheese in Wheelock has an open mic night from 8.30 pm if you fancy a sing!

Saturday, October 7th

It's Rode Hall farmer's market at Scholar Green from 9 am until 1.30 pm with new stallholders and produce. There will be a wide selection of Rode produce including decorative gourds, chrysanthemums, kale and beetroot.

St Peter's Church in Elworth has a car boot sale from 9 am until 12 noon if you fancy looking for some bargains. The event will be inside if wet.

Sandbach United's first team are at away to Droylsden with a 3 pm kick-off.

In the evening, the New Hope Support group has its big 80s fundraising event as revealed here - at Sandbach School. Tickets are still available for this worthy cause which includes a live band.

The Lion has Northern State playing from 9 pm.
