Thursday, April 3rd

The Saxon Players start their run of their current production, 'Spring and Port Wine' at the Masonic Hall in Sandbach.
Set in 1960s Bolton, Spring and Port Wine is a heartwarming tale of family, feuds and fish!
It tells of the proud, working-class Crompton family and how their lives are changed irrevocably over the space of a weekend and all because Rafe Crompton's daughter Hilda refuses to eat a herring!
The play evokes a by-gone era of old-fashioned warmth, tradition and gentle humour juxtaposed with the challenges of family dynamics which will resonate today.
Tickets cost £10 and are available on-line here
Friday, April 4th
It's the Friday market indoors at Sandbach Market 9 am until 4 pm - a chance to shop local and look round a variety of stalls.

Saxon Players continue their run of 'Port and Wine' at the Masonic Hall details here but sadly tickets are sold out for Friday's production.
