Spring has sprung and there's lots happening in Sandbach this weekend. 

There's an Easter coffee morning, a choral society event, a big band night, a food and gift fair, plus much more. 

Every Thursday, we bring you our top picks of events in Sandbach happening over the coming weekend.

Here are our top event picks for the coming days:

 

 

Saturday, March 25th  

Sandbach Animal Rescue Society has its Easter coffee morning from 9.30 am until 12 pm at Sandbach Town Hall. There's also a surprise appearance from Peter Rabbit at 10 am. Go and join in the fun!

Sandbach Rugby Club's 1st XV is in the Cheshire Cup Final against Macclesfield Rugby Club at Lymm with a 3 pm kick-off. Good luck Sandbach

Sandbach United aka The Ramblers are also away to Foley Meir with a 3 pm kick-off.

In the evening, there's another big band night with The Swinging Woodpeckers at St Mary's Church Hall in Sandbach. The Swinging Woodpeckers Big Band will play a selection of ballroom, Latin and swing pieces for entertainment and to dance to. Tickets are £10 on the door.

At St Peter's Hall in Elworth, Sandbach Choral Society perform Puccini: Messa Di Gloria and Handel: Messia Part 2 at 7.30 pm. Tickets cost £10 and are available from choir members, Sandbach library and Burnell's in Sandbach.

Sunday, March 26th    

Want to start running? Sandbach Striders is a friendly club.  

They meet Monday, Wednesday and Friday nights and Sundays at 9.30 am the latter for a 'long slow run' to be confirmed.

At Sandbach Indoor Market, there's a Food, Gift and Craft Fair from 10am until 3pm.

At Sandbach High School and Sixth Form College in Middlewich Road, , there's the Co-operative Wind Band has a Spring concert featuring a number of band including the newly formed beginner group and Elworth Hall School choir.

The concert starts at 3pm and tickets are £5.00 for adults and children are free. Tickets can be paid for via the band's account or using cash/cheque on the door. More details available via this link: https://www.co-operativewindbands.com/event-details-registration/spring-concert
