Two children in Sandbach are full of smiles – after winning runner-up prize in the Co-op's 2022 Halloween pumpkin carving competition.
Brother and sister, Lincoln and Verity Stafford have been presented with a hamper of goodies from the Co-op.
And the talented siblings couldn't be happier for the goodies will bring festive cheer to their house in Elworth.
As soon as the goodies were delivered, Lincoln and Verity sat down to watch a Christmas film with their mum Becci Stafford.
"It's such a lovely thing for Verity and Lincoln to be involved in. They really enjoyed doing their pumpkins and getting a prize was such a lovely extra treat for them," said mum, Becci.
"We are all set for Christmas now with so many goodies. Verity and Lincoln decided we will watch a Christmas movie and they can have one of their prize items."
Lincoln from Elworth, Sandbach aged eight suffers from Muscular Dystrophy, so he painted his pumpkin as he can't carve while his sister Verity carved her pumpkin.
The Co-op and Nub News would like to thank everyone who entered the competition for their efforts.
