Holmes Chapel Zoo

Holmes Chapel Zoo is a family-run, conservation-focused zoo offering hands-on animal experiences and educational encounters just outside the village of Holmes Chapel. Open every weekend (and school holidays), the zoo is home to 20+ fascinating species, with scheduled animal encounters, keeper talks, and themed events throughout the year. Visitors can also book private animal experiences and enjoy a unique, up-close introduction to wildlife.

In addition to our on-site activities, we offer a well-established outreach service through Zoo2U, delivering engaging animal workshops to schools, care homes, youth groups, and community events across the region. Zoo2U specialises in curriculum-linked educational sessions that bring learning to life with live animal interactions.
