Position: Part-Time TutorLocation: Alsager Library, AlsagerHours: 2 Days per Week (Wednesday 10am-2pm, Thursday 10am-1pm)Duration: 16 Consecutive WeeksSubjects: English, Maths, ScienceSalary: Competitive (to be discussed during the application process)

Simply Education is excited to offer an opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated tutor to join our team. This role involves delivering 1:1 tutoring sessions to support a Year 11 student in re-engaging with their learning journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct engaging and supportive tutoring sessions in the core subjects of English, Maths, and Science.
  • Follow existing lesson plans while also creating tailored homework tasks based on session content.
  • Build rapport with the student, fostering a positive and motivating learning environment.
  • Monitor and report on progress to ensure the student achieves their educational goals.

Requirements:

  • Experience teaching or tutoring in the core subjects (English, Maths, Science) at GCSE level.
  • Ability to create effective and engaging homework tasks.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and engagement with the student.
  • A proactive and empathetic approach to learning support.
