Requirements of a Care Assistant:

Draughtsman
As Draughtsman working for a construction company in Sandbach, you will create clear schedules that; reflec quotation to clarify customers expectations/approval, and facilitate quality and efficiency of procurement, production and Installation.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Research concepts/information from Project Architects, Site Surveys and Design Briefs supplied by the Project Managers and merge this information with systems to create a fully representative 3D model
- Review relevant site structural constraints in order to develop cost effective and compliant solutions using configurations of standard products and support of colleagues.
- Ensure drawings are compliant to relevant regulations (BS6180, BS8300, BS EN 1991-1-1, Building regs part B, K & M)
- Consider CDM regulations in the design
- Develop an understanding of basic mechanics to understand causes and effects of various design concepts in conjunction with structural requirements
- Develop the ability to use structural calculation spreadsheets to validate bespoke, but basic, fixing scenarios and ensure compliance prior to issue to PDM
- Consult with Design engineers for validation of bespoke details outside the range of the structural calculation spreadsheets.
- Be competent to select suitable fixing anchors as outlined in BS8539
- Arrange approval drawings in a clear and concise manner, and send to Project Managers to issue to the customer
- Upon approval, create further drawings, parts lists and 3D files, to support the procurement, production and installation teams.
- Provide technical support for onsite installers, directly dealing with them to proactively resolve any onsite design issue, subsequently, producing relevant drawings & schedules as required to ensure a prompt & efficient resolution.
- Produce concept and design drawings for product development - as required
- Provide support to the Sales, Estimating and Marketing teams as required to assist with development of compliant, practical and accurate bids, including analysing incoming enquires, understanding and detailing complaint specifications and preparing quotations.
- Liaise and attend meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business and organisational development.
- Attend training sessions as required, to develop relevant knowledge and skills.
Core Competencies
- Ideally 3 years CAD experience
- Ideally 3D CAD (Solid Edge, Solid Works, Inventor) experience
- Experience in the Construction industry
- A positive, proactive approach and can-do attitude.
- Logical thinking a strong Math background

Our client is seeking a Communications Officer on an initial 2-month contract with the possibility of an extension.
Start Date: ASAP - 2 Month Contract
Pay Rate: 17.12 Per Hour PAYE
Location: CW11 1HZ
Working Hours: 37 Hours Per Week, 09:00 - 17:00.
Job Purpose:
To plan, deliver and advise about communications campaigns that promote the priorities of CEC.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement cost-effective, creative, audience-specific communications plans and products, that promote the Council and that support the Council's business objectives, using a wide range of digital and traditional channels.
- Commission cost-effective, creative, audience-specific communications products from a range of internal and external providers including media relations officers, online services team and Creative Design and Print Framework suppliers.
- Set, monitor and evaluate SMART communications objectives for communications activity, including both output and outcome measures.
- Contribute to a coordinated schedule of communications activity for Cheshire East Council
- Contribute to a comprehensive body of marketing and communications intelligence to inform and support the delivery of the Council's communications objectives.
- Build an influential network of internal and external contacts as an enabling resource to support the delivery of the Council's communications objectives.
- Advise, influence and challenge colleagues and service delivery partners at all levels on their communications objectives and requirements
Skills and Experience:
- CIM / CIPR (certificate or diploma)
- RSA2 typing speed qualification or an equivalent level of experience
- Professional experience in a marketing or PR communications role including:
- Excellent copywriting for a range of audiences and channels including media releases
- Good general IT skills (including Microsoft Office)
