Sandbach is getting ready to party in style - both for King Charles III's Coronation and for Sandbach Transport Festival.

Red, white and blue bunting is being put up in the town centre to get ready for both the transport festival this weekend and the big royal occasion next month.

Shops are putting royal memorabilia up as well as Sandbach Town Council which has put up bunting in the town centre to get the town ready to celebrate in style.

The celebrations start this weekend with the two-day Sandbach Transport Festival as we told in this story here: https://sandbach.nub.news/news/local-news/town-is-on-the-road-to-success-with-this-weekends-sandbach-transport-festival-180218

And the celebrations continue next month (May) when Sandbach is set to party in style with an impressive line-up of events announced to celebrate the coronation of King Charles III.

All the details for the big royal celebration are contained in our story here: https://sandbach.nub.news/news/local-news/sandbach-set-to-party-all-weekend-long-for-king-charles-iiis-coronation-179760

The coronation events include two at Sandbach Rugby Club in Bradwall Road, a treasure hunt and a service of Thanksgiving on the Cobbles.

And there's a chance to get in the party mood this weekend when the town is packed out for the annual transport festival.

Take a stroll around our market town and enjoy the bunting brightening up our historic streets. Let's party!
