Glastonbury comes to Sandbach this weekend with the annual rock and pop festival

Organisers of an annual rock and pop festival taking place this weekend are gearing up for their biggest show yet, with a bumper 12 acts appearing.

Haven't made it to any of Taylor Switfts' concerts? Don't worry as there's a Taylor Swift tribute in the 'Glastonbach' line-up - Taylor Swift tribute, Melissa, as well a host of other acts appear at at Saturday's (June 22nd) event.

The event, which takes place at Sandbach Rugby Club in Bradwall Road, is the brainchild of organiser Andy Milner who in the past has described it as a "freedom festival" with family orientated acts giving non-stop fun.

"It a thrilling day of music featuring 12 acts is promised at the Rock & Popfest at Sandbach RUFC," say organisers.

"With a schedule that includes pop stars and rock icon tributes, there is something for every kind of music fan.

"A day of culinary and musical delights is guaranteed as guests enjoy in a range of food booths and cool off at the bar in addition to the amazing performances.
