The golf course has undulating features bordering on to the Trent & Mersey Canal with a small river flowing through the golf course

The Betchton Road club house reopened its doors as 'Bar 918', named after the holes it overlooks at last year and now a year later it's added the revamped pods.

"They will be available to book through a variety of sources including LateRooms, " said a spokesperson.

"One of the pods is kings size and they offer a variety of accommodation. They're great for anyone attending parties, weddings and other functions.

"We've had a company from Switzerland book out our facilities for a conference they're holding. They wanted somewhere in the North West not too far from Manchester."
