Sandbach Leisure Centre throws open its doors for open day

Sandbach Leisure Centre is throwing open its door this weekend for an open day after the previous one was cancelled due to Storm Eunice.

Nub News told in February Click how the centre temporary closed after part of the roof was blown off.

The centre which is attached to Sandbach High School and Sixth Form College in Middlewhich Road was due to have an open day during that time.

This has now been rearranged and is being held this Saturday (April 2nd) and lots of activities are on offer to take part in and enjoy .

Visitors can have a go at free group fitness classes from sprint group cycling to kettle bells, yoga, swimming.

Taster sessions are available for Sandbach Netball Club and there's a family fun bouncy castle and dry play plus a family yoga class.

A spokesperson said: "There will be swimming and gym sessions to try along with the sports hall family time.

"You can bring along your family and friends. There will also be some exclusive membership joining offers only available on the day."

The fun starts at 8.30 am and goes on into the afternoon and some sessions need to be booked in advance at www.everybody.org.uk

The sessions are as follows:

  1. 30am-9.30am | Sprint Group Cycling*
  2. 45am-10.30am | RPM Group Cycling*
  3. 00pm-1.45pm | Kettlebells*
  4. 00pm-3.00pm | Yoga*
  5. 30pm-3.15pm | RPM Group Cycling*
FREE SWIMMING
  1. 00pm-2.00pm |General Swim
  2. 00pm-4.00pm |Fun Swim
