Work is well underway at a Sandbach pub which has been closed for a while but is set to reopen.

The front of the Swan and Chequers pub is clad in scaffolding and a a sign has gone up describing it as 'a fantastic business opportunity as Robinsons look for a new licensee.

Robinsons has applied to Cheshire East Council to extend the opening hours (bringing the start time earlier) and to extend the trading area as revealed in our story here

The pub is tenanted and Robinsons say they are looking to recruit a new business partner to run the pub.

Robinsons has revealed plans for the external courtyard as well as a new catering kitchen and full refurbishment of trading areas.
