A leading family-run environmental company in Stoke on Trent is seeking a full-time Business Development Executive to join its sales team to generate new leads and manage existing customer accounts. The role offers a competitive salary and benefits package with uncapped commission of up to £40,000. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and self-driven individual to join a rapidly expanding and supportive company that values it s people and would suit someone who has previous telesales or customer service experience as full training can be provided on company products and services. As the Business Development Executive your responsibilities will include:

  • Prospecting new B2B customers nationally through cold-calling activities.
  • Generating new leads and following up on existing leads.
  • Understanding customer requirements before proposing solutions and upselling value added products and services.
  • Providing quotes and overseeing the project from initial consultation through to delivery.
  • Maintaining and updating the internal CRM.
  • Carrying out administrative tasks associated with the sales process.
The Business Development Executive will have the following skills and attributes:
  • Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Able to deliver against realistic achievement and KPI targets.
  • Knowledge of health and safety or occupational hygiene products and services is desirable but not essential as training can be provided.
  • Previous experience in telesales or customer services would be a distinct advantage.
You will be working 40 hours per week from the Stoke office, between 8.30am and 5.00pm, Monday to Friday. You will be joining a company who specialise in providing expert advice, assessment and solutions to businesses nationally on health hazards within the workplace. They pride themselves on playing a crucial role in identifying and implementing health and well-being strategies within industry to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
