Several police cars were spotted by readers parked on the main road going into Holmes Chapel. Readers contacted Sand bach Nub News to find out what was going on.

We can confirm that Cheshire police, spotted in Knutsford Road yesterday (Sunday) were helping Gloucestershire police with an arrest.

A spokesperson for Cheshire police said: "On the afternoon of Sunday 6th April police made an arrest of a 55-year-old man on behalf of Gloucestershire Police.
