Form Peru to Sandbach – meet the man who is making dreams come true for his long-lost family and bringing a touch of colour to our lives.
Sandbach dad, Carlos Munez, has launched a business selling textile products from Peru.

But they aren't just any products – they are products made by his talented sister-in-law in deepest Peru.
Launched six months ago, Peru Interiors, is going from strength to strength and orders are flooding in.
And if it wasn't for the proud adoptee from Peru's quest to find his birth family the business would never have started.
Carlos, who lives in Eva Street, Elworth, was adopted and grew up in Bolton but always wondered who his family were in Peru.
"Having my first-born prompted questions like 'where are my birth family and are they ok," said Carlos.
"My search began and I found my birth family in October 2020, amazingly via Facebook."
Carlos says when he and his wife Ella and daughter Floriana (3) visited Peru they spotted a sewing machine in the corner of the room.
"We visited them in December 2021 and realised how talented of a seamstress my sister-in-law, Adriana is."
The rest is history and now with the help of his brother, Eduardo, Carlos and his wife Ella set up Peru Interiors when they got back to the UK.
"Never in our wildest dreams did we imagine running a small business this time last year," said Carlos.
"We didn't even know this time last year we were even going to Peru. It's all happened so fast."
The Munez family sell the products on-line and at farmers markets as well as through outlets such as Gibson's Greengrocers & Deli in Sandbach and pop-up shops.
"We've had really good feedback so far," said Carlos. "The vibrant colours do brighten up a room. They are great for adding a bit of colour."
For Christmas, Peru Interiors has developed decorations alongside their wall hearts, storage bags and baskets.
"We have lots of ideas for new products. We are listening to our customers and what they would like."
Products can be viewed on their Facebook page which has contact details https://www.facebook.com/peruinteriorsltd/ as well as their Esty shop https://www.etsy.com/shop/peruinteriors/?fbclid=IwAR2Qn-FN9-rPz15yFof0MHCyKtuYsu002lVlCSGbOohRILhdTPlLrz1LR64
