Sandbach is flying the flag for the Lionesses who face Spain in the final on Sunday.

St Mary's Church in Sandbach has the St George flag flying as does Westfields, the headquarters of Cheshire East Council, in Middlewich Road.

Sandbach Nub News told here Cheshire East's main offices will have the St George flag above its main offices to show our support for the Lionesses during the Fifa Women's World.

Council leader, Councillor Sam Corcoran and deputy leader Cllr Craig Browne said previously: "We hope to be flying the flag and helping support England all the way to the final in Sydney on 20 August."

That's happened and now we eagerly await the outcome of Sunday's final. Good luck England!
