Job of the week: Customer Team Leader, Co-op

This week, our Job of the Week is at the Co-op Congleton Road, Sandbach.

It's an exciting role for which the salary is £10.45 an hour plus benefits across 25 hours per week plus regular overtime.

You will be helping to shape the future of a business which is passionate about putting ethical values into practice and being there for the community to do amazing things that will help support local good causes.

A positive role model, you will engaging, training and supporting your team in completing store activities. As a retail supervisor you will also perform daily checks to ensure the store is safe, secure, operational and presentable for customers.

You will be key holder opening and closing the store, taking responsibility for the premises in the absence of other leaders.

You will also take charge and guide the team if there's a problem to resolve and champion the Co-op by promoting membership and benefits and encouraging the team to participate in local projects we support.

You will take ownership and direct the team, knowing when to step in and help your colleagues on the shop floor. Good communication skills, great organisational skills, problem solving skills, the ability to collaborate and build relationships with people from all walks of life.
