Hannah The Hammer
Sandbach Masonic Hall
Theatre
UNTIL Thursday 30th March
Hannah Corcoran has already become a hero in her hometown of Birkenhead. With the help of a devastating left hook, she became a champion for women at the shipyard during the great war, she defended the rights of the working class and unemployed during the great depression and she exposed political provocation during the food riots of 1932.
Now she is ready to settle down and raise her family, but with war once again on the horizon and three feisty daughters causing all sorts of trouble, she finds that she still has her work cut out.
Whether it is a bully with a ferocious dog, a sergeant who drafts underage boys, or a son-in-law who shirks his family responsibilities, Hannah's left hook will always be there to ensure justice is done.
